All file transfers use TLS 1.3 — the same encryption standard used by banks and governments. Your documents are encrypted in transit and cannot be intercepted.
Every connection to Docpressor is encrypted with TLS 1.3 with perfect forward secrecy. Even if a key were compromised, past sessions remain protected.
Your files are automatically and permanently deleted from all servers within 30 minutes of processing. No exceptions, no backups, no traces.
We run automated cleanup every 5 minutes that hard-deletes expired records from our database. Processing pointers, metadata, and any cached data are permanently removed.
All processing happens on servers located in the European Union, subject to the strictest data protection laws in the world.
Our infrastructure runs in EU data centers. Your documents never leave the EU during processing. This ensures compliance with GDPR and national data protection regulations.
We never read, analyze, index, or store the content of your documents. Our system processes files without understanding their content.
Docpressor is a processing pipeline, not a document management system. We don't have employees who review documents. The pipeline compresses/merges/converts without content analysis.

Our database stores only metadata (file name, size, processing type) and a temporary pointer. The actual file bytes are held by our processing partner and auto-expire. We hard-delete our pointers on schedule.
Docpressor is fully compliant with the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679. We process data as a data processor, not a controller.
We minimize data collection, enforce purpose limitation, and implement data protection by design. We do not use your documents for training AI models or any purpose beyond the requested processing.

Your file is encrypted with TLS 1.3 and sent through our secure proxy to the processing server. It is never written to disk on our servers — it is forwarded in memory.
The processing server compresses/merges/converts your file. The result is held temporarily on the processing server. Only a pointer (server + task ID) is stored in our database.
When you download, we fetch the result from the processing server and stream it directly to your browser. The file is never stored on our servers. Download is limited to 5 attempts.
After 30 minutes (or sooner), our automated cleanup permanently deletes the pointer from our database. The processing server also expires the file independently. No traces remain.
